Wallace

[Wɒ-ləs]

Wallace is derived from the Norman French word “waleis”, meaning “foreigner, Celt, Welshman”.  But we chose this name in honor of William Wallace.

William Wallace was a Scottish knight and hero who led the War of Scottish Independance against England in the 13th century.  He was known for his military leadership in battle and his subsequent role as Guardian of Scotland.
