A cow is never just a cow, Scottish Highlander or not. Every girl gets a name and a lot of love. Or space, if she prefers.

After all, every animal has its own character and will. Because of that, we will only name the calfs once we’ve gotten to know them a bit. So we know who we’re dealing with. Appearance and ancestry play a roll in it too, of course.

Not all our ladies were born with us. And some off them were well beyond the stage of “miss” when they came to live with us. But each and every girl gets her name and her approach.

After all, never say “It’s just a cow”.
